Sunnyside Speech Pathology is a neurodiverse affirming practice that focuses on providing functional support to individuals and their community

Sunnyside Speech Pathology offers telehealth and mobile speech pathology services for toddlers, children, adolescents and adults in Ryde and surrounding suburbs. Support can be provided in the home, preschool or school settings.

Sunnyside Speech Pathology supports children and adolescents with evidence based intervention focusing on: 

  • supporting neurodivergent individuals including those with autism, ADHD and other neurodiverse conditions

  • supporting children with complex medical and genetic disorders

  • Early language development including late talkers

  • Receptive and expressive language development

  • Higher level language skills

  • Stuttering 

  • Speech sounds and articulation development

  • Social communication skills

  • Literacy development 

Sunnyside Speech Pathology also supports adults with evidence based intervention focusing on:

  • Communication difficulties associated with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. autism, ADHD, intellectual disability),  acquired neurological disorders (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury) and degenerative disorders (e.g. dementia)

  • Stuttering

  • Literacy difficulties

Sunnyside Speech Pathology accepts payments from a range of funding options including:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme - we accept self managed and plan managed funding, we currently are unable to accept NDIA managed funding

  • Medicare - we are a registered medicare provider and accept chronic disease management plans

  • Private Health Fund - clients with speech pathology extras are welcome to manually claim their sessions with us. Depending on your cover, a gap payment may still be required

  • Private - we accept and welcome private paying clients who are seeking support with their communication
