Hi, I’m Rachel!

Senior Speech Pathologist & Director of Sunnyside Speech since June 2023

Rachel Lenné (née Horton) is an experienced Speech Pathologist who completed a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences at Macquarie University, and a Masters of Speech Language Pathology at Sydney University.

Rachel has experience working as a team leader and clinical educator, and is currently supervising students completing their Masters degree at the University of Sydney along with running Sunnyside Speech. She has additionally supervised students at the University of Technology Sydney. Rachel has experience mentoring new graduate and early career Speech Pathologists, supporting them to develop their clinical skills.

In 2025, Rachel participated in a multidisciplinary podcast with Disability SPOT “MDT Approach to Understanding Rare Diagnoses”.

When she is not with her clients, Rachel enjoys reading and catching up with her book club, spending time with her family and dog, Samson, and drinking different types of tea!
